“RELAY FOR LIFE”

Posted on: May 2, 2011

Join us on May 20th, 2011 from 6am to 6pm @ the Lone Star High school in Frisco.

This is the American Cancer Society’s signature activity offering everyone in the community an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer. Teams of people camp out at a local high school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track/path.
This event is to celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer and to remember loved ones lost to the disease…The strength of survivors inspires others to continue to fight and at the relay you may walk next to those who have battled cancer or need healing from your presence…

We Relay because we have all been touched by cancer and desperately want to put an end to the disease. The goal of the College Ministry is to raise money for the cause as well as to have people on the track at ALL times; so the more people involved the more likely we will be able to reach these goals. If you can’t stay the whole time then please feel free to only spend an hour of your time if you can. Every moment counts!

For any questions and/or information regarding registering for this event, please contact the Christina Rodriguez (College Facilitator): crodriguez2@cougarmail.collin.edu

ALL ARE WELCOME!

God Bless,
A College Student
